Si el compresor funciona sin interrupci--n, verificar que el termostato no se encuentre en una posici--n Adems si el aparato hace demasiado ruido verificar que los costados no estZn en contacto con muebles que pueden causar ruidos o vibraciones y que la unidad refrigerante no vibre. Si se ven restos de agua en el fondo del refrigerador comprobar que el orificio de desagYe de la escarcha derretida no estZ obturado (ver cpitulo Desescarche). DespuZs de hacer las verificaciones anteriores, si la anomal'a persiste, llame al Centro de Asistencia TZcnica ms cercano. Es importante en el momento de llamar proporcionar la referencia del modelo y el noemero de matr'cula del aparato indicados en el certificado de garant'a o en la tarjeta matr'cula. 21 8 Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. However, when the ice becomes very thick on the inner liner, complete defrosting should be carried out as follows: 1. pull out the plug from the wall socket or turn the thermostat knob to the O setting; 2. remove any stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a cool place; 3. leave the door open, and remove the water which forms during defrosting by means of a sponge of cloth; 4. when defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly; keep the scraper for future use; 5. turn the thermostat knob back to the required sefflng or replace the plug in the power socket.
